The Digimon Encyclopedia.

A quite hidden but still useful feature in DMO is the Digimon Encyclopedia. It works like a sort of Pokédex but with Digimon, except it gives little to no information about the Digimon present in DMO, apart from just the name of the base Digimon from each digivolution line, and a picture of every digivolution from all digivolution lines.

 Every Digimon that you haven't hatched or unlocked yet will be shown only as a silhouette in that Digimon's digivolution line, until you get it. Once you get to complete a Digimon's digivolution line totally, a colored star will be shown over that Digimon's line, which color you get will depend on which size that Digimon has been hatched with when you got to complete it.

 What the colored stars above the digivolution lines do is to give you prizes for each digivolution line you get to complete, also counting any Armor, Burst Mode and Jogress digivolutions that the Digimon may have. When you complete a Digimon's digivolution line totally, you'll be able to reclaim your prize from it by clicking on the digivolution line's name.

 Which kind of prize you get depends on the star's color. Here's the list about which color gives what kind of prize, according to the Digimon's size and the star's rareness:
-3/5 Digimon will give a white star, and a common prize.
-4/5 Digimon will give a yellow star, and a good prize.
-5/5 Digimon will give a red star, and the best prize.

 Bear in mind that you can only get the prize from each digivolution line once, so plan carefully which Digimon's digivolution line you'll wish to complete so you'll get the best possible prize with each one. Most recommendable way to complete and get all of the digivolution lines' prizes is to hatch 5/5 sized Digimon before completing their digivolution lines and getting their prizes.

 It's not necessary to keep one of each Digimon hatched in order to unlock their digivolution lines and get their lines' prizes, you just need to hatch each Digimon once then complete their digivolution lines, and after you did it you may delete them if you want to without losing the prizes you got from them. Even though this last piece of information is off-topic, it works in the same way as the Titles/Achievements given for unlocking all Mega Digimon digivolution do.
