Clothes & Accesories

Clothes & Accesories.

A key feature in DMO is the use of Clothes and Accesories for our Tamers. Not only do they give Tamers a nice aesthetical look, but they also provide Tamers a boost on their stats and also on our Digimon's stats as well.

There are many ways to obtain Clothes and Accesories up to now:
1-As a prize from completing ingame quests.
2-As a prize from game Events.
3-Purchased from Cash Shop using PSilk or Silk (Except for Ring and Necklace).
4-Sold by other players ingame.
5-Scanning Rare Digieggs.

Once you get Clothes for your Tamer, there's something worth noting before equipping them, there are limitations regarding to the Tamer's level. So if your Tamer's level is below the level required to equip the Clothes, you won't be able to equip them. There are also classified in different kinds of Clothes, which may vary from single pieces of Clothes to whole special Costumes.

About each kind of Clothes, every single one boosts a different stat of our Tamers as well as our Digimon, so here's the list that explains it:
-Hats effect depends on Hat kind.
-Shirts increase Tamer's HP (Hit/Health Points).
-Shorts and Pants increase Tamer's DE (Defense).
-Tapes and Gloves increase Tamer's AP (Attack Power).
-Slippers and Sneakers increase Tamer's MS (Movement Speed).
-Rings increase Digimon's stats, according to the Ring's number of cores (2-4).
-Necklaces increase both Digimon's and Tamer's stats at the same time.
-Glasses increase max DS (Digisoul).
-Headphones increase Tamer's Intimacy while their effect lasts.
-Costumes provide effects depending on the class of Costume.
-Digivices allow storing up to four Digimon at once in your Team.

Regarding Clothes, you need to merge Clothes Attributes in order to increase their stat boost. In order to get them you have to either buy them from NPC shops or players, or to obtain them by scanning Rare Item Digieggs dropped from wild Digimon.

It's also important to note that the Clothes class determines the duration of the Clothes' effect on the Tamer. Normal class Clothes may not apply the stat boost at 100% but last forever, while Rare class Clothes apply the stat boost completely but last for a fixed time and they are rendered useless when their duration expires.

Once you got Clothes Attributes, you must bring them to any Equipment Merge focused NPC so that you can merge them into your Clothes and boost your Tamer's stats. Remember you can't merge or use the Attributes as they are, you must analyze them first in order to merge them into the Clothes or they won't add any effect to them at all.

To merge and to deactivate Attributes (that is to add or remove them from the Clothes) takes a price valued with ingame money, that may range from some mere Bits to even many Megas, depending on the Attribute's Rank and Rareness.

Also note that Clothes Attributes may boost stats in random intervals ranging between two different numbers, so almost anytime you analyze one of them you'll get Attributes which give different stat boosts for your Clothes. The Rank and Rareness of them also determines the amount of stats they may add to the Clothes as well as the level required in order to equip them to your Tamer.

Another key fact about Clothes Attributes is that not all Clothes can achieve the full potential of their Attributes, as Normal class Clothes generally apply about 55% of the Attributes' stat boost (Shirts, Shorts/Pants and Tapes/Gloves), while others apply the stat boost completely despite their class (Shoes and Glasses).

One last point about Clothes Attributes is their Rareness and Rank related to their stat boost. Ranks are arranged at A, B, C and DThe higher the Rank is (A being the lowest and D being the highest), the higher the stat boost interval obtained can be.

Rareness is determined as Normal, Magic, Rare and Epic, ranged from the most common to the most rare. The more rare an Attribute is, the higher chance it has to achieve the highest stat boost possible. Eg.: If an Attribute is of Epic Rareness and has a boost interval between 100-200 of a stat, it will be easier to get an Attribute with 200 stat boost when analyzed by an NPC.

Combining both Rank and Rareness you can define which Attribute is better than others, as a Normal D Rank Attribute may give a lower stat boost than an Epic C Rank Attribute, even if it doesn't seem like that at first glance.

So that's all that is to know about how Clothes and Accesories work for Tamers. Maybe i will make another post with more details about Rings and Necklaces once i do some more research on them. Hope this post's information has been useful for you, and see you soon. ;)
