Attribute & Element Relationships

Attribute & Element Relationships.

Just like i promised, i'll tell you the relationship between all of the Digimon's Attributes and Elements available in DMO. Here you go.

As in any other RPG, there are advantages and disadvantages between the different Attributes and Elements available, which means that if you have advantage over your enemies you'll deal more damage to them and viceversa. In DMO it's the same, as they are lots of different types of Attributes and Elements that Digimon possess, each with their own combination as all Digimon have both an Attribute AND an Element too.

The available Attributes of Digimon are the following: Vaccine (VA), Data (DA), Virus (VI), No Attribute (No), and Unknown (Un).

Here are the advantages and disadvantages of all the Attributes:
-VA is good against VI.
-DA is good against VA.
-VI is good against DA.
-No is good against none but has no weakness.
-Un is good against all the rest and has no weakness either.

While most Digimon are all from either VA, DA or VI Attribute, Digimon of No and Un Attributes are uncommon so they are few of them. Examples of No Attribute Digimon (No) are DemiMeramon and almost all In-Training Digimon except for Tanemon (which is DA); and examples of Unknown (Un) Attribute Digimon include Keramon and his digivolution line.

Also, the available Elements of Digimon are as follows: Fire, Ice, Water, Earth, Wood, Wind, Light, Darkness, Electric, and Steel.

Here are the advantages and disadvantages of all the Elements:
-Fire is good against Ice.
-Ice is good against Water.
-Water is good against Fire.
-Earth is good against Wind.
-Wind is good against Wood.
-Wood is good against Earth.
-Light is good against Darkness.
-Darkness is good against Light and Electric.
-Electric is good against Steel.
-Steel is good against Light.

Note that, as you can see on your Digimon's information window (X key from keyboard, D icon from slot bar), Elements are grouped sepparately according to their own advantages and disadvantages, as Elements from outer groups have neutral effect against each other, so try to bear that in mind.

I hope this post's information is useful for you, and see you soon. ;)
