DigiSpirits & Spirit System

DigiSpirits & Spirit System.

The most recent ingame digivolution system implemented up to date in GDMO is the Spirit system, which includes all the Digi-Spirits from the Digimon Frontier series. As i promised many times before, like in my post about Monster Cards for example, i was going to make a post explaining everything that's needed to be known about Digi-Spirits in DMO, so here it is, hope you like it.

This kind of digivolution system is quite unique, as it needs no Digieggs to work. Actually, it needs Digi-Spirits to unlock them as new playable Digimon for your Tamer. In order to obtain a Digi-Spirit's Digimon as partner you'll need 3 items: The Digi-Spirit's Spirit Card, its Digi-Spirit (obtained by killing it in battle), and Bokomon's Book (bought for 45PSilk/Silk/Crown from Cash Shop, or for 8-10Teras from players). Once you gather both the Digi-Spirit and Bokomon's Book, you must bring both items to the Bokomon NPC which is in Dats Center, and you'll need a free Archive slot ready for the Digi-Spirit to be stored once you give both items to Bokomon NPC, as you'll get it directly with no Digieggs.

It's worth noting that you can't increase Digi-Spirits' size before "hatching" them, as by default you'll always get "3/5" sized Digi-Spirits, but you can still give Fruits to them in order to increase their size once you had "hatched" them.

How do you get Spirit Cards? Killing any wild Digimon in DMO that has the same Element the Digi-Spirit you're looking for represents. This applies both to Human and Beast Digi-Spirits, as they are both of the same Element but in different forms. All Digi-Spirits summoned with the Spirit Cards are between lv44-46 so it's recommended to use a Digimon close to those levels as they will almost always drop their Digi-Spirit when they get defeated.

There's a curious fact about Spirit Cards, that for some reason may summon more than one Digi-Spirit with a single Card. Up to now i personally saw it happening with BurningGreymon, Zephymon, Petaldramon and Gigasmon, but some say it also happens with Kumamon and all the Digi-Spirits. Quite convenient for players if you ask me.

Once you get all the Digi-Spirits up to date, in the future you'll be able to also get both KaiserGreymon and MagnaGarurumon, thanks to the Spirit system. In order to get KaiserGreymon, you have to get every Digi-Spirit of Fire, Wind, Ice, Wood and Earth Elements, both Human and Beast, and bring them all up to lv99, then bring them to Bokomon NPC and pay 500Megas for each, and in exchange for deleting permanently each lv99 Digi-Spirit you'll be able to transform them into Shining Spirits, that will allow you to trade them for KaiserGreymon once they implement it in GDMO. To get MagnaGarurumon it's the same, except you need to get the Shining Spirits of Light, Thunder, Water, Darkness and Steel Elements to trade them with Bokomon NPC along with 500Megas for each Spirit, in order to also get MagnaGarurumon. About Susanoomon nothing's confirmed yet, but most certainly it will be needed to have both KaiserGreymon and MagnaGarurumon to obtain it, only time will tell us what will come next to DMO.

In KDMO they are all implemented already and beyond, but in GDMO it's a bit slower and there have to be implemented completely, so i'll show you a list that says all the Digi-Spirits available in GDMO and which Element they represent so you can know which Digimon you should hunt to get them. Here you go (Digi-Spirits are listed in the order they have been implemented both in KDMO and GDMO):
-Agunimon/Agnimon (Spirit of Fire H).
-BurningGreymon/Vritramon (Spirit of Fire B).
-Kazemon/Fairimon (Spirit of Wind H).
-Zephyrmon/Shutsmon (Spirit of Wind B).
-Kumamon/Chakkumon (Spirit of Ice H).
-Korikakumon/Blizzarmon (Spirit of Ice B).
-Arbormon (Spirit of Wood H).
-Petaldramon (Spirit of Wood B).
-Grumblemon/Grotmon (Spirit of Earth H).
-Gigasmon (Spirit of Earth B).
-KaiserGreymon (Shining Spirits of Fire/Wind/Ice/Wood/Earth H/B).
-Lobomon (Spirit of Light H)(KDMO).
-KendoGarurumon (Spirit of Light B)(KDMO).
-Beetlemon (Spirit of Thunder H)(KDMO).
-MetalKabuterimon (Spirit of Thunder B)(KDMO).
-Ranamon (Spirit of Water H)(KDMO).
-Calmaramon (Spirit of Water B)(KDMO).
-Löwemon (Spirit of Darkness H)(KDMO).
-KaiserLeomon (Spirit of Darkness B)(KDMO).
-Mercurymon (Spirit of Steel H)(KDMO).
-Sephirothmon (Spirit of Steel B)(KDMO).
-MagnaGarurumon (Shining Spirits of Light/Thunder/Water/Darkness/Steel)(KDMO).
-Susanoomon (Yet to be implemented in KDMO).

If you're a collector like me or just don't want to waste a tough-trained lv99 Digi-Spirit to get just an item, a nice solution to get both the regular Digi-Spirits and also KaiserGreymon along MagnaGarurumon would be to "hatch" each Digi-Spirit twice, so you can keep one to collect each one and you can still trade the extra ones for the Shining Spirits so you can also get KaiserGreymon and MagnaGarurumon too. It takes lots of Archive slots but i'm quite sure it's worth it if your goal is to collect and still keep them all together.

Personally i'm working on that solution right now, so i hope to make it in the future, i also hope those who will try the same make it too. I also hope this post's information has been useful for you, and see you soon. ;)
