Memory Chips & Memory Skills.
Another feature recently implemented in DMO is the use of both the Memory Chips and the Memory Skills. This kind of Skills are quite special, as well as random.
In order to be able to use Memory Skills, you have to get 2 items: a Memory Skill and Memory Chips. The Memory Skills can be bought from Cash Shop (25PSilk/Silk/Crown each) or from other players, and Memory Chips can be dropped randomly by any wild Digimon defeated.
There are 3 basic, general types of Memory Skills: Attack, Defense, and Support. Attack Skills are offensive-based Skills, Defense Skills are defensive-based Skills, and Support Skills are supportive-based Skills, just like all the names imply. And there are also 3 different ranks for each Memory Skill basic type: Low, Mid and High. The higher the rank, the better the obtained Memory Skill will be.
Also, there are lots of Skills that compose any of the 3 base cathegories, and every time you get a Memory Skill from one of the 3, you can get one of the Skills that fit that type of Skill at random. Each Skill's effect is self-explanatory so you just have to get it in order to see what it does.
Once you get a Memory Skill, you'll need Memory Chips in order to use it. As it works like BM digivolution, you have to use Memory Chips every time you wish to use a Memory Skill, or it won't work. That's why Memory Chips are dropped easily by wild Digimon, and you can also buy them from NPC shops for 10Bits each, in case you need to do so.
How do you add Memory Skills to Digimon? You have to first scan your Memory Skill completely, until the Skill's name and rank is shown in the item's description. Once it happens, you have to choose the Digimon you want to add the Memory Skill to, and it may be needed to have about 60 Memory Chips in order to add it successfully.
Remember that you can add many Memory Skills to a single Digimon, but only one for each of the Digimon's digivolutions from its digivolution line (BM and Jogress Digimon don't count). So you may add one Memory Skill to every digivolution of your Digimon, except for its BM or Jogress.
If you want to remove a Memory Skill, you can do it from the Digimon's Skill list, but remember you can have only one Memory Skill active at once with the same Digimon, so if you want to change your Digimon's current Memory Skill, you'll have to delete the previous one in order to add another one.
That's all the information about the use of Memory Chips and Memory Skills. I hope this post's information has been useful for you, and that you may get a good use for that information. See you soon. ;)
