Jogress Digivolutions

Jogress Digivolutions.

Another kind of digivolution present in the Digimon franchise and also in DMO is the Jogress digivolution. Jogress consists in the fusion of two different Digimon to form a new, stronger Digimon. The term Jogress was first known from the Digimon series manga.

In order to achieve Jogress digivolution in DMO, you need to have two items: a Digivice, and a Jogress Chip. All Tamers get a Digivice once they begin playing, but to get Jogress Chips is more difficult, as you need to buy them from whether the Cash Shop (using 45PSilk/Silk/Crown to get a 30 days Jogress Chip) or from players in exchange for Teras.

Something else that's needed to achieve Jogress digivolution in DMO is to complete certain Jogress Quests, that are given to you by the Calumon NPC located in Dats Center. Once you complete those Jogress Quests, you'll get to unlock Jogress digivolution for your Digimon to use. Each Jogress Quest is different so you have to check by yourself what do you have to do in order to complete it and get your Jogress digivolutions.

Although you need to bring your Jogress Digimon up to a certain level before you can try Jogress digivolution. In the case of each Jogress Digimon, there's a certain level that needs to be reached with both of the Digimon who will form that Jogress Digimon in order to use their Jogress digivolution.

Here's the list of all the existing Jogress Digimon and the level that their base Digimon have to reach, in order to digivolve into them (sorted by alphabetical order):
*Alphamon Ouryuken:
+Alphamon (Mega).
+OuRyuumon (Mega).
-All Digimon at lv41.

*Examon:
+Brakedramon (Mega).
+Slayerdramon (Mega).
-All Digimon at lv41.

*Fanglongmon (KDMO Exclusive Jogress):
+Baihumon (Mega).
+Qinglongmon (Mega).
+Xuanwumon/Ebonwumon (Mega).
+Zhuqiaomon (Mega).
-All Digimon at lv50.

*Omnimon/Omegamon:
+MetalGarurumon (Mega).
+WarGreymon (Mega).
-All Digimon at lv41.

*Shakkoumon (Jogress):
+Angemon (Champion).
+Ankylomon (Champion).
-All Digimon at lv50.

*Silphymon (Jogress):
+Aquilamon (Champion).
+Gatomon (Champion).
-All Digimon at lv50.

Remember that in order to get Shakkoumon (Jogress) and Silphymon (Jogress) you must hatch the Jogress version of the Digimon who form them, that is:
+Shakkoumon (Jogress):
-Patamon (Jogress) + Armadillomon/Armadimon (Jogress).
+Silphymon (Jogress):
-Hawkmon (Jogress) + Gatomon (Jogress).
So, if you hatch the regular, non-Jogress version of those Rookie Digimon, you won't be able to reach Jogress digivolution for them.

Now that all the basics of Jogress digivolution are covered, you should know the limitations Jogress digivolution implies:
1-All Digimon who form the Jogress digivolution must be in your Team.
2-A Jogress Chip is always needed to activate, but not to maintain a Jogress.
3-Digisoul is always consumed, whether if you have a DigiAura or not.
4-The Digimon with lower level is the only one who can activate Jogress digivolution, unless all Digimon who form it are at right the same level.
5-Jogress Digimon will have the same size of only the Digimon that activates Jogress digivolution, ignoring the other Digimon's size.
6-Jogress Digimon will have the cloning stat increase from only the Digimon that activates Jogress digivolution, also ignoring the other Digimon's cloning stat increase.
7-If any of the Digimon who form a Jogress digivolution have unlocked their Burst Mode (BM) digivolution, or any evolutionary stage further from the one that's needed to achieve Jogress digivolution, it won't be possible to activate Jogress digivolution.

To sum up all the limitations about Jogress digivolution, i'll try to explain it briefly: You need to have all the Jogress material Digimon present in your Team, only the lower lv Digimon (or anyone if they are at equal lv) can activate Jogress digivolution, transfering the size and cloning stat increase of only that Digimon to the Jogress Digimon, ignoring the size or cloning stat increase from the other Digimon. Jogress Digimon will always consume your DS, no matter if you have DigiAura or not, and you'll need Jogress Chips to activate but not to maintain Jogress digivolution. Also you won't reach Jogress digivolution if any Digimon digivolved to a further stage than the one needed (eg.: if you need 2 Mega Digimon to activate Jogress, and one of them or both achieve their BM you'll lose Jogress digivolution for those Digimon).

That means that, if you wish to have both a Digimon's Burst Mode and Jogress digivolution, you'll need to hatch that Digimon twice: one to use for Jogress digivolution, and the other one to unlock its Burst Mode.

This is all the information you'll need about Jogress digivolution and its limitations. I hope this post's information has been useful for you and that you can put it to good use. See you soon. ;)
